My Story
Hi, I'm Jo!
I am a fully qualified teacher with over 20 years of experience in education, working across primary schools, outdoor learning settings and international classrooms. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping young people develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.
I have taught children across all primary age groups, including Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, and have extensive experience delivering engaging, personalised lessons that help learners reach their full potential. My background as both a classroom teacher and mentor has given me a strong understanding of how to support children with different abilities, learning styles and individual needs.
Alongside my classroom experience, I am a qualified Forest School Leader and outdoor learning specialist. I enjoy finding creative ways to engage learners and believe that education should be inspiring, practical and relevant to the world around us. I have also spent several years teaching English as a Foreign Language internationally, developing strong communication skills and an adaptable approach to teaching.
My lessons are supportive, engaging and tailored to each learner. Whether a child needs help building confidence, strengthening core skills or preparing for future challenges, I aim to create a positive environment where they feel encouraged to succeed.
Above all, I believe every child can thrive with the right support, encouragement and opportunities, and I take great pride in helping young people achieve their goals.
