Hi, I’m Gaby!

I’m an experienced tutor currently studying Mathematics at the University of Liverpool. With A-levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry, an Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), and grades 8 and 9 across all my GCSEs, I bring a strong academic foundation and enthusiasm for learning to my teaching.

I have experience tutoring a variety of subjects and supporting students across different ages and abilities. My approach is to break challenging topics into clear, manageable steps, adapting explanations to suit each learner and helping them build a secure understanding before moving on.

I know how overwhelming learning can sometimes feel, so I aim to make lessons supportive, engaging and purposeful. I encourage students to ask questions, talk through their thinking and see mistakes as a useful part of learning. Whether we’re revisiting the basics or tackling more demanding questions, I want students to understand how they reached an answer and feel confident applying their skills independently.

Outside tutoring and university, I love playing the piano and guitar, singing, playing netball and going skiing with friends and family.

My goal is to help every student make progress they can feel proud of. Whether you’re working towards a pass, aiming to improve your grades or striving for the highest results, I’ll support you with patience, encouragement and clear explanations.
