Alternative Provision
Specialists in SEMH, SEND and disengaged learners.
Offering 1:1 and small-group provision in homes, schools and centres.
Our Alternative Provision supports pupils across the North West and Yorkshire who are not currently accessing mainstream school full-time. We specialise in one-to-one and small group teaching for learners with SEMH, SEND, EAL needs or those on EOTAS packages.

We work with local authorities, schools, social workers and families to create personalised, flexible education plans. These are delivered by experienced tutors in homes, community spaces or one of our centres.

Wherever your learners are, we’re close by. We currently support pupils across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, South Yorkshire and beyond!
Our Story
Lytham Tutors was founded with a simple belief: no young person should be left behind in education. What started as a private tutoring business has grown into a leading alternative provision provider, supporting nearly 200 learners across the North West and beyond.

We now offer tailored academic, therapeutic and enrichment support for children and young people with a wide range of needs. Our programmes are holistic and focus on wellbeing, life skills and personal development as well as core subjects. Whether in the home, a care facility, a centre or online, our focus remains the same: connection comes first, progress comes naturally.

Our team includes former teachers, SENCOs, senior leaders, youth workers and subject specialists, all committed to helping every learner make meaningful progress in a way that works for them.
