Hi, I’m Priyanka!

I’m an experienced tutor supporting students in Maths, English and Science, with additional experience teaching A-level Biology. I enjoy helping young people work through challenging topics, develop their understanding and become more confident in what they can achieve.

My tutoring journey began at MagiKats Tuition Centre, where I spent over a year working with primary and secondary school students across a range of ages and abilities, including learners with special educational needs and disabilities. This experience taught me the importance of patience, clear explanations and finding creative ways to make learning accessible to each student.

Alongside my studies at the University of Liverpool, I’ve also supported A-level Biology students working towards their chosen university courses. Teaching these sessions online helped me develop different ways to explain concepts, use resources effectively and keep students actively involved in their learning.

My approach is friendly, adaptable and encouraging. I take time to understand what a student finds difficult, break topics into manageable steps and give them opportunities to practise and build independence. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and to recognise their progress as their understanding grows.

Outside tutoring, I love staying active, particularly through tennis and netball. I enjoy the teamwork, communication and determination involved, qualities I also bring to my teaching.

Above all, I want my students to believe in themselves. Improving academic skills matters, and so does helping a young person feel capable, motivated and ready to take on their next challenge.
