My Story -
Available from September 2025 onwards only.

Hello! My name is Charlotte and I have been working with Lytham Tutors since February 2020.
I qualified as a Primary School Teacher in 2015 and spent 7 wonderful years teaching in the local area! I now work for the NHS in Children’s Mental Health Services and tutor alongside this, in the evenings.
I specialise in English and Maths from Year 1 up to Year 6 and I have lots of experience supporting children with additional learning needs. I cover all areas of Maths and English, including Phonics, Spellings, Grammar & Punctuation and Comprehension. I can also provide support for SATs and 11+ exams.
I aim to make sure my lessons are fun, engaging and full of varied activities. I like to provide a positive and nurturing environment where my students know that it’s okay to make mistakes because I’m there to fully support them along the way. Once I know my student’s learning styles, I find practical ways to support them by teaching various strategies that they can also use in school to help them succeed.
Something that really motivates me as a tutor is seeing those “light bulb” moments when my student finally understands something that they have been struggling with, it’s the best feeling!!
I believe a big part of being a successful tutor is having the ability to build confidence within my students and of course, helping them to find the fun in learning!
