My Story

Hello, I'm Chris!

I am a fully qualified maths teacher with over 15 years of experience, having qualified in 2011. I specialise in tutoring students at KS3 and KS4 in Mathematics, with a focus on building confidence and improving outcomes through clear explanations and practical learning.

Holding a Diploma in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I have extensive experience working with students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, and ODD. I take a personalised and flexible approach to tutoring, tailoring each session to suit the individual needs and learning styles of the student.

My teaching philosophy is rooted in making maths relevant and engaging through a hands-on approach. I believe the best way for students to learn is to “do maths”. I aim to spark curiosity and help students see the real-world value of what they’re learning.
