My Story
Hello. I’m Chris
I have worked in education now since 2010, qualifying as a teacher in 2011.
I have an undergraduate degree in music and religious studies and a PGCE in Secondary Music
with QTS.

Having worked in education in various sectors for the past 14 years, I have had the privilege of
guiding thousands of students through their exams.
I have taught Music, History and Religious Studies to A Level.
Following the pandemic, I decided to move into Special Education and was awarded a diploma
in SEND. My work now primarily focuses on motivating students with Special Educational
Needs to achieve their maximum potential in English and Math. I have worked in a Special
Needs College and for an alternative education provider.
Over my career, I have taught students with a variety of special needs including, but not
exclusively, ASD, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, and Down Syndrome.
I enjoy making use of technology and assisted technology in sessions and am keen to promote a
love of learning in all the students that I teach.
In my spare time, I play the piano and the organ. I am additionally a singing teacher registered
with AOTOS. I also enjoy spending time in the gym and hill walking.
I hope to see you soon.
