My Story
Hello, I'm Chris!

I am a fully qualified science teacher with over 15 years of experience, having qualified in 2011. I specialise in tutoring students at KS3 and KS4 in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, with a focus on building confidence and improving outcomes through clear explanations and practical learning.
Holding a Diploma in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), I have extensive experience working with students with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, and ODD. I take a personalised and flexible approach to tutoring, tailoring each session to suit the individual needs and learning styles of the student.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in making science relevant and engaging through a hands-on approach. Whether it be a practical demonstrating magnetic fields or taking apart a model of a human body to explore the different organs, I believe the best way for students to learn is to “do science”. I aim to spark curiosity and help students see the real-world value of what they’re learning.
