My Story
Hi, I'm Georgia!
I am a caring, patient and dedicated tutor with a passion for helping children and young people build confidence and achieve their full potential. Through my experience across education, alternative provision, SEND support and children's services, I have developed a strong understanding of how to support learners with a wide range of needs and backgrounds.
My background includes working within alternative provision settings, supporting both primary and secondary-aged pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups. I delivered interventions, supported behaviour and engagement, and helped young people access learning both in school and at alternative placements. This experience taught me the importance of adapting my approach to suit each learner and building positive relationships that encourage progress.
I have also worked in family support, residential childcare and SEND settings, supporting children and young people with a variety of additional needs. These roles have helped me develop patience, empathy and the ability to create a calm, supportive environment where learners feel comfortable and confident.
I hold a degree in Children's and Young People's Learning and Development from Edge Hill University and am passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning. My goal is to create positive learning experiences that build confidence, celebrate progress and help every learner achieve success.
