My Story

Hi, I'm Evie!

​

I am a patient, caring and supportive tutor who is passionate about helping young people build confidence and achieve their full potential. I believe that every learner is unique, and I enjoy adapting my approach to suit each individual's needs, strengths and learning style.

​

My background includes teaching horse riding lessons to children and adults of a wide range of ages and abilities. Through this experience, I have developed strong communication skills and learned how to explain new concepts clearly, encourage progress and create a positive learning environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves.

Alongside my teaching experience, I have held management and leadership roles within a pet and country store and as a horse club secretary. These positions have helped me develop excellent organisational skills, professionalism and the ability to build positive relationships with both young people and adults. Working closely with families has given me valuable experience in supporting individuals with different personalities, abilities and goals.

As a parent myself, I understand the importance of patience, encouragement and creating an environment where children feel safe, valued and able to succeed. My own life experiences have helped me develop empathy, resilience and an understanding of the challenges that some young people may face both within education and in their wider lives.

I am passionate about helping learners develop confidence in their abilities and discover that learning can be both rewarding and enjoyable. Whether a student needs support building foundational skills, improving confidence or working towards specific goals, I am committed to providing the encouragement and guidance they need to succeed.
