Hi, I'm Jenny!

I am an experienced Mathematics and Science tutor with a strong academic background and a passion for helping young people build confidence in subjects that many find challenging. I hold a First Class Honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Manchester and have over 15 years of experience providing one-to-one tuition, alongside more than two decades of experience supporting pupils within primary education.

Throughout my career, I have worked with children of a wide range of ages, abilities and learning styles, developing a patient and adaptable approach that allows every learner to make progress. I believe that building confidence is just as important as developing knowledge, and I take pride in helping students discover that they are capable of achieving more than they thought possible.

I particularly enjoy teaching Mathematics and Science, breaking down complex topics into manageable steps and helping learners develop strong problem-solving skills. My academic background in Mathematics enables me to explain concepts clearly and build secure foundations that support long-term success.

My lessons are supportive, encouraging and tailored to the individual needs of each student. Whether a learner needs help catching up, preparing for exams or stretching themselves further, I aim to create an environment where they feel comfortable, motivated and ready to succeed.

 

Above all, I believe that every child can thrive with the right support, encouragement and guidance, and I am passionate about helping young people achieve their goals both in and beyond the classroom.
