Nathan

Hi, I'm Nathan, and I tutor both the higher and foundation GCSE (Edexcel, AQA and OCR). I have a background in engineering before entering the world of education, so I have seen the real-world applications that mathematics has to offer! 

 

I have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, and I am presently pursuing a Master's in Computer Science. Through my own professional experiences, I have discovered my passion for teaching and sharing knowledge. Whether explaining engineering principles to colleagues or mentoring junior team members, I have consistently been assisting others in understanding technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.

I am a firm believer in learner-centred teaching, integrating patience, clarity, and practical examples to help cultivate curiosity and build confidence among students. It is my personal aim to help students feel like they can achieve and to have the confidence to set aspirational goals for their own future careers. My students will not only acquire technical skills, but also develop the mindset necessary to address real-world challenges.
