I am a qualified primary school teacher and tutor, with 25 years of experience
teaching across Early years, KS1 and KS2. I have held leadership positions in
English, Early reading & phonics, and SEND, and have mentored many Early Career
Teachers. I am warm and patient and have lots of experience in supporting children
with a range of SEN and SEMH learning needs. My lessons are tailored to be fun
and relevant to each child, aiming to boost confidence and ignite a love of learning in
every child.

As an educator, I have always been passionate about giving children and young
people the best possible start in life. It is my job to discover and nurture their
individual skills and talents, and give them the encouragement and belief needed to
succeed. The relationships I build with children, young people and families are
always strong, caring and supportive. I have a keen interest in promoting positive
mental health and well-being in children and young people, which is essential for a
positive learning experience. I also possess the empathy and the ability to actively
listen, which are vital to make a positive impact in this area.
